persuasive writting

During the lockdown, we had to do persuasive writing. In my writing I had tried to do some different sentence types they are not perfect. I think I have done my writing to the best of my ability. Again it is not perfect. I think I need to use the sentence types more. The "that's me - predator-free writing helped a lot.

Do you think NZ citizens should be ripped away from there: homes, country, freedom, and family? Well right now in Afghanistan there is a war and some people in that war are our  NZ citizens. Why are they still there? We can get them out of there, I believe it can be achieved,  if we work together, if we get the government on board,  if we upskill and get out there. Then our people will be happy.  Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you not just look into your own needs, but the needs of others”.

   

Main idea

    This is just getting out of hand, so this is why I believe NZ citizens should have the choice.  

If we don’t get our NZ citizens out now - it’ll be far too late. The horrible, corrupt, terrible Taliban army will start to tower over the world and it will begin to grow and grow. Spreading like the delta disease. Destroying and fighting their own country for all the power and glory. Thanks to the help of all their resources - it has made the job easier. NZ citizens have tried to escape the Taliban group, but have just been pushed back. So I think that it’s right that New Zealand citizens should stand up for themselves - and come home. The government must protect its citizens, they cannot just leave them behind. 

Some people believe that our NZ citizens should stay in Afghanistan. I believe that they should have a free choice on what they want. According to stuff. Co. NZ 80-60 percent would like to come home. So I strongly agree we should listen.  No person deserves to be in a country of destruction, terror, and war - is this where you would like to live? If not then. They should come home.

Lastly,  I believe that New Zealanders are wanting to come home now because they are sick of the: Taliban army, war, fighting, and injustice. I advise that we should listen to them and help them out of this corrupt war. I'm calling on the army and government and anyone who can help. This is a  serious problem that's been going on for decades- it must stop now.
