Courage Writing Snapshot

Jesus was a courageous man, he showed courage in multiple ways. Mathews 14:27 says

“,  if I can be courageous then so can you, take courage! It is I, don’t be afraid”.  I believe we

can all be courageous and stand up for what we truly believe. If we apply this verse to our life, if we follow the examples of Jesus, if we understand and relate to it then we will have nothing to fear. So how can we see courage in the life of Jesus Christ…

People would mock Jesus, laugh at him, scream in his face, tell him he was not good enough but did Jesus retaliate? Did he mock them back? Would he scream in their face? Tell them there not good enough? No. He would not do anything. He would utterly stand there without having anything to fear: Courage. Jesus showed courage also when he was in the wild. Satin came to Jesus and tried to tempt him, satin said “ If your the son of God, turn those stones into bread”

“Man does not live on bread, but on the word of God.” 

Again and again satin tried, but Jesus had none of it. I believe we can all learn something from this scripture. I learned that if something or someone tries to tempt you to do something wrong, you should not do it and stand up for what is good.No matter how small you are or how intimidating your opposition can be: don't let fear dictate you.

Jesus was amazing and people were following him and wanted to know more about him ( Jesus Christ), but there were this religious group of Pharisees who were worried that Jesus was going to become king, so they were determined to crucify him. No matter how hard they tried they could not find anything wrong with him, they tried to trick him, tempt him into doing something wrong: but they could not. Jesus knew what they were trying to do and knew what was yet to come. How is this showing courage? Well if you knew you were to be crucified wouldn't you be scared? But there was nothing they could see that was wrong within Jesus.

There are far more verses of how Jesus showed courage; like when he calmed the storm, Jesus confronts the demonized man, Standing up to the Pharisees, The cross, and much more. In a nutshell, I believe we have all been through a time of fear: but we all can override that fear like a wave. No matter how small you are or how intimidating your opposition can be: don't let that fear dictate you. We all have something to learn from Jesus.

 This is my probability 1. We have been learning and doing probability. It is fun. I think I have done well

The runner

 This is my narrative that I think is really exceptional. We watched a video clip called Ruin. It was an inspirational video to inspire us to write.  We have been learning about narratives. Some things I need two be working on are: to keep on extending my types of different sentence types for effect.

                                                                Orientation 

The once majestic, shimmering stand-tall towers were now overrun by flora.All of humanity was gone. Everything. I, the masked man, was the last malfunctioning person left-where was everyone else?

I kicked open the old crate, which unleashed all its goods. I found it: k10 iPhone Galaxy Plus. My eyes glowed, unleashing

power throughout my arm. The phone dimmed and there on the screen appeared to be two ‘quarantine facility sights’. I was determined to go there. “Quarantine facility,  here I come.”

                                                                      Problem (run)

The air felt tense, something was wrong. I could feel it. Suddenly, an Ultra-Powered Cytra Plane rose up from behind. They

found me. I quickly took off like Sonic the Hedgehog. Not feeling aware of anything. If I wanted to live. I would run. I slipped down the bank, got up, and was away with the wind. My Mx motorbike rammed across the dry, undergrowth of the remnant road. I had

to find a way out of this. There was an old railway tunnel I had remembered; that is where I was heading.

                                                                   Complication(Tunnel)

The sounds of a super machine gun made me clutch the handles and go faster. My life depended on it, suddenly two clone like machine gun maniacs came flying out from the sides. The clones started chasing me down. Banging the rocket bombs onto the side f my MX bike and, then watching them flare into flames. Persistently and effortlessly I threw them behind me. Boom! One by one.

Zooming into the tunnel I went.. Dark, scary, damp-was I going to make it out alive? Voice command.“Insert night vision goggles”.

Now the tunnel outline and the obstacles were visible. I might make it out...

                                                                   Solution(defeat)

Every second counted. I only had one more rocket, I only had one life and only one chance-was this all enough? I prepared myself

f for impact, waiting for the right moment to chuck my last bomb. Pacing myself, I threw the bomb into the air, making the drones

shatter like a glass mirror. Defeat. I had done it:  the masked man was victorious. Finally, I came speeding out of the tunnel, but hovering and waiting for its prey like a vast eagle was the Cytra Plane. I accelerated the motor on my MX bike, pulled out my katana, and reved my motorbike onto the ramp. Slowly and carefully, I stood up mid-air, before double flipping and then injecting my katana into the living souls of my victim. Defeat to Cytra plane.

Stay courages

 In class, we are learning about courage. We had to choose a quote that we liked and had to do a motivational poster. I liked my quote because It helps me understand that it takes courage to stand up and get over your fear. It also takes courage to listen to other people too. 

I learned that good posters are eye-catching and have a purpose. In my poster I have:

Layering, cropping, color, custom color, and grouping.

Learning goals maths

 These are my math goals for this term. I am trying to achieve getting from brick 23 to brick 25 it will be a challenge to do this in 3 weeks.  To help with my bricks you can also use Miharo math on our class site.
